You said I was ‘the most inspiring woman you know’.

Everything before the last couple of difficult years has been forgotten and somehow erased from your mind. I don’t understand how you can do that. I know it’s what your dad does and that you are now looking up to him. I hope that one day you will see how wrong he is in how he treats his family and how wrong you are to be so filled with poison. I hope one day you will remember the good stuff. I focus on it.

I am not ashamed of you. I am 100% team Zoe. I am furious with your bio father standing by while you write about being sad, and miserable and alone. I want him to help you with that. That is where the shame should lie. He should be ashamed of himself. I am not and have never been ashamed of you. You make me proud every single day. My love for you is endless, no matter how much you make me frustrated or angry.

It wasn’t that long ago that you were interviewed for a blog and asked who the most inspirational woman in your life was. You answered, ‘Definitely my mother..’

I don’t know where she got the ring story but I didn’t have the heart to tell her it was a Christmas present long before she was born.
