Pray for you?

Pray For Me is a song released by my daughter and feels like a message to me. Then again, in my current state I wear a lamina of ‘bad person’ and all the world is a criticism.

That’s all that I do. I pray that one day you will have memories that are true. Remember the mum who volunteered at your school, went on school trips, had high tea with you at La Tea Da, focused on being the best mum she could be, making it up as I go. The mum who started a business to pay for your private school because your dad said he as ‘out’ as far as tuition was concerned. The mum who has not given up on you despite your vitriol, hate and violent words and threats. I pray for you every single day.
